The Garfield United Methodist Church congregation has been in existence for more than 120 years. A Church in the Wesleyan tradition, we continue to guide our faith journey by the Wesleyan Precepts of balance between purity (social holiness) and service (social Gospel) and between Scriptural Study, prayerful reflection upon the Saints of our Tradition, the application of Reason, and the test of Experience. Description:

Garfield United Methodist Church, founded in 1884, is a small, rural church with a traditional worship service. It has a talented choir director and organist/pianist, a three part choir and several instrumentalists. Worship services and Sunday School are at 10:30 a.m.
